Co-inventor of the Internet, Turing Award winner, and Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist at Google, Vint Cerf, visited AMERIA AG in Heidelberg on September 23, 2024, accompanied by his wife Sigrid.
Whitfield Diffie, cryptography pioneer and fellow Turing Award recipient, and Stephanie Rosenbaum, user experience expert and founder of TECED, completed the group.
The AMERIA team showcased their AV Experience portfolio with different solutions for touchfree interaction like the AMERIA Airframe and the Sony Touchfree Screen. The guests were particularly impressed by MAVERICK AI, the world’s first AI device based on a laptop that combines virtual worlds without VR goggles, touchfree screen interaction, and artificial intelligence.
The exchange with the American tech pioneers was highly constructive. Vint Cerf and his companions recognized the revolutionary potential of AMERIA’s products. Cerf remarked: “You have to see the progress AMERIA has made in just one year. I can’t wait to see what happens in another year.”
